Off we go to Almonte Ontario, about 40 minutes from Ottawa to see 'BUTTON MANIA' and 'FIBERFEST'. Curator Lacelle brought some of the galleries latest arrivals. I love buttons! Tons of antique, glass, early depression bakelite and some new buttons all for sale at ok prices. FiberFest on the other hand held at various locations in the historic town of Almonte was kind of low energy except for my friend Joan Alexander selling her exquisitely cobbled quilt jackets.
